The Last Judgement

A dark landscape is brightened by fires in the background. Above it Christ is enthroned, as Judge of the World. Angels with trumpets wake the dead. On earth devilish figures throw themselves on the mortal sinners who have not been chosen.

The left-hand panel shows Paradise; on the right is Hell.

This triptych is an almost perfect copy of Jheronimus Bosch's Last Judgement (c. 1485).
