Holofernes' Head on the Walls of Bethulia

Judith has the head of the Assyrian warlord Holophernes displayed on the city wall. She tells the Bethulean fighters to show themselves but refrain from attacking, allowing the Assyrians time to warn their leader, only to find out that he has been killed. The shock will make it easy for the Israelites to drive out the Assryrians.
