Achior before Holofernes

The Assyrian warlord Holophernes is commanded by King Nabuchodonosor to reduce all places where the king is not adored as a god. When he hears that the Israelites are raising defenses, he becomes interested. Achior tells him the history of the Jewish people, starting with Abraham and ending with the return from Babylonian exile (Diaspora). Achior warns Holophernes that the Jews are protected by their god and that he had better not attack them.
