Job and his Friends

God tests pious Job's faith by unleashing Satan upon him. All sorts of disasters then happen to Job, but he does not loose his trust in God. In this painting his friends stop by to tell him that all his misfortunes are a consequence of his sins. They are dressed as kings. To the left is Job's wife.
