Just before the city of Sodom was destroyed, Lot and his daughters managed to escape. The daughters assumed it was up to them to perpetuate the human race. But the only man around was their old father...

In two consecutive nights they gave him enough wine to intoxicate him, rendering him unable to remember conceiving children with his daughters.

The eldest daughter gave birth to Moab, who would become father of the Moabites. The youngest one conceived Ben-Ammi, father of the Ammonites.
